In the past week or so, the news has been abuzz with the case of the assassination of Daniella Perez. There are numerous different theories circulating as to why she was killed, such as a preventive detention by the FBI. The assassination also raised the question of how she died, such as by asphyxiation.

Paula Thomaz

Guilherme de Padua Thomaz was a 51 year old convicted murderer. He was known for his assassination of atriz Daniella Perez.

The case of the assassination was investigated by a police investigator, who drafted a 240 page report. Both Paula and Guilherme were charged with qualified homicidio. They were sentenced to sixteen and nineteen years in regime fechado.

The investigation revealed that the assassination was carried out because of jealousy and a desire to get back at an atriz who had stolen a lot of money from Paula. When the crime was discovered, the ex-wife called the police.

A witness named Ivana Crespaumer heard conversations between the criminal and another woman. She also visited the detention facility.

Guilherme and Paula renounced their right to speak in the courtroom. Their lawyer quit after the police investigator compiled a 240 page report and requested an indictment.

Guilherme de Padua and Paula Nogueira Peixoto were found guilty. The criminal was convicted of eight deadly golpes.

Assassination of Daniella Perez

The assassination of Daniella Perez by Guilherme de Padua and Paula Thomaz took place on December 28, 1992. It was a crime that would lead to Guilherme’s arrest and conviction for double-counted murder.

The criminal was accused of beating the actress in a gas station. A police officer ordered Paula to be arrested for her involvement in the crime. Later, she admitted to the court that she had been guilty. But she said she hated Daniella.

In a trial that began in 1997, Guilherme and Paula were divided. Guilherme’s defense claimed the murder was an improvised attack. He said he wanted to confront Daniella. At the same time, Paula claimed she was sick the next day.

After ten hours of interrogation, Guilherme confessed to the crime. During the interrogation, he cried. His lawyer interrupted the proceedings. Deputy Mauro Magalhaes tried to cover up the crime.

On the day of the crime, Daniella Perez and her husband, actor Raul Gazolla, were leaving a recording studio. Guilherme saw them and followed them. Dani was on her way to catch a ride with a friend. When she stopped at a gas station, Guilherme approached her and followed her.

Preventive detention

The man formerly known as Guilherme de Padua, was a name on everyone’s lips for over two decades. During this time, he did a few shady things like securing the first presidential cabinet and delivering an infamous performance in the Brazilian state of So Paulo. On the flip side, he penned some rather interesting documents, which made him the subject of a fair amount of debate, not to mention a fair amount of gossip. In short, he was a bit of a cult. So much so, that the police had to send him on a round trip to a remote prison in the outskirts of Rio.

For better or worse, he became a poster child for the plight of the incarcerated. His plight would have been worse were it not for the fact that he had a family to support. As luck would have it, he had a little help in the form of his wife, Paula, who was a talented legal savant.

Death by asphyxiation

If you’ve been following the case of Daniella Perez, you may have noticed the criminal named Guilherme de Padua. He was accused of the murder of Daniella.

The crime happened in December 1982. On that day, the actress was leaving the recording studio of the telenovela. Her co-worker, Eliseu, witnessed her being attacked. When she was taken away, he witnessed the actress being stabbed 18 times. It is believed that she had a knife and scissors. However, her body was not found.

A witness reported that she was in the company of Paula Thomaz. This was one of the two actors who played Bira in the eight o’clock soap opera. In order to get to the gas station, Daniella was put inside a car. She was then stabbed to death.

Another accuser of the crime was Paula Thomaz. The actress claimed that she wanted to kill Daniella. She had a tattoo of GUILHERME on her crotch.
